The Ockment Centre offers a range of meeting rooms that accommodate between 2 and over 100 people. All are on the ground floor for easy access and a portable hearing loop is available if booked in advance.
Seating and tables can be arranged to your specification, from theatre to boardroom style or completely clear for exercise or relaxation classes.
Rooms are generally hired in 3 hour sessions and Overhead Projectors, Flipcharts and Televideos can be booked in advance.
Refreshments
Tea and Coffee can be provided at highly competetive rates. Kettles and Mugs are available free of charge if you prefer to bring your own. With notice, buffet lunches can be provided per head for groups of six or more.

CosdonLarge airy room on the ground floor. Will seat up to 60 people theatre style. Suitable for AGM’s conferences, exercise or training. KesMedium sized meeting room on the ground floor, close to reception. Perfect for up to 18 people board room style or 30 people theatre style. LinksSunny meeting room to rear of building. Will seat up to 50 people theatre style. WolfCounselling / small meeting room adjoining Links, but with own separate entrance if required. Will seat up to 12 people theatre or boardroom style. Kitty, Doe, HoundCounselling and small meeting rooms, the largest, Hound will seat up to 10 boardroom or theatre style with Kitty or Doe being ideal for 2 or 3 people. Ockment HallStand alone building, recently refurbished with new disabled toilet facilities. The hall has a sprung wooden floor, ideal for exercise, martial arts and dance. Can also be used for tabletop sales, children’s parties and large conferences. Versatile set up, will seat over 100 delegates theatre style. HaytorThe Haytor room is ideal for arts and crafts, excercise, conferences and meetings. Very light and airy , overlooks riverbank and leat. Double connecting doors allow the flexibility of a breakaway room. Each room will seat up to 25 people comfortably. |
